I thought of having a big party to mark the anniversary but decided instead to make this a year of reflection and change (with a big party at some point, obviously). So what am I doing?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m going back to university and am going to train to be a teacher (Secondary science \u2013 Biology). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Education, and working with children and young people, have been central to my career to date, but I\u2019ve never been brave enough, to actually qualify as a proper teacher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of my friends and colleagues will think this is an insane idea, however, I think most of them will probably think that this is something I should have done twenty years ago and it\u2019s about time I came to my senses.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n ","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I turned fifty this year.
